FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 
  • Please mail your RSVP card in the pre-stamped envelope as soon as possible and no later than September 15, 2023.

  • Both events will be at Bear Creek Mountain Resort.

    Our ceremony will be outdoors on a paved patio.

    Cocktail hour is immediately after the ceremony, followed by dinner and dancing. The entire reception will be indoors in the Lodge Ballroom, but there will also be an outdoor deck available after cocktail hour.

  • Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:00 p.m. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to give yourself enough time to park and walk to your seat.

  • There is free parking at Bear Creek. Please park in their hotel lot and walk into the hotel/convention center building. There will be signs to point you to our ceremony site, and staff will also be available to direct you!

  • Please do not take any photos or videos during the ceremony. While we appreciate that you want to capture this special moment with us, all we need is you to be present and enjoy the moment. We promise to share everything with you afterward!

  • Please wear semi-formal attire. See this page for some great recommendations. If you still have any questions, reach out to us!

    We also ask that you refrain from wearing dark teal, our main color—we want our wedding party to stand out!

  • Even though our venue is in the mountains, it’s not very far into Pennsylvania. We can probably expect a high around 60-65°F and a low around 40-45°F.

    Remember, our ceremony is outdoors and there’s an optional outdoor deck during the reception—try to plan your outfit accordingly!

  • Our wedding ceremony and reception will be adults-only events. Thank you for understanding, and we truly appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time to celebrate this special day with us. We hope you can take this opportunity to relax and have fun!

  • We have a strict, invitation-only guest list. We’ve indicated on your personal RSVP card how many seats we’ve reserved for you.

  • Cocktail hour will have light hors d'oeuvres.

    Once you receive your RSVP card, please indicate your dinner selection. There will be two meat choices and a vegetarian option.

    The entire reception will be open bar.

  • The fastest way to reach us is by sending a message through our Facebook event page.

    Our entire menu is selected well before the wedding date. Let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate you! Otherwise, we cannot guarantee you’ll be able to enjoy the food.

  • Yes! Please see this page for more information about our registry.

  • Yes. Should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

  • We do! But please don’t take photos or video during the ceremony.

    For the rest of the wedding, we’d love if you posted pictures using our wedding hashtag #TBD so we can see them, too!

  • Yes! Please take the centerpiece and other decorations on your dining table. We love knowing that something from our special day could turn into a home decoration for you!

  • You will be missed! Please RSVP “no” and return your card in the pre-stamped envelope as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly!
